How to Add a “Stop” Function in the Timeline to Halt Slide Progression at a Specific Time?

1. Open Your Presentation

Start by opening the presentation you want to edit in the hiCreo.ai editor.

2. Select the Timeframe in the Timeline

In the Timeline, double-click on the exact point where you want the slide to stop progressing. This will open the Code box at the selected timeframe.

3. Add the “Events” Function

In the code box, drag and drop the “When time is at this point” block into the assembly area.

4. Add the “Stop” Function Choose a Text Template

In the code box, locate the “Stop” block under the Timeline section. Drag and drop this block into the assembly area below the “When time is at this point” block. The blocks should snap together.

5. Preview the Changes

To ensure the “Stop” function works as intended, click on “Preview” and select “Current page” to test it.
